Chartle ("we", "the game") is a free daily browser game at playchartle.com. This policy explains what data we handle. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we store

Your game progress and streak are saved only in your browser's localStorage on your own device. We do not have accounts, and this data never leaves your browser or reaches our servers.

What our servers see

Our server serves the daily puzzle and checks your guesses. Standard web request data (IP address, browser type) may be processed transiently by our host to deliver the page, and is not used to identify you or build a profile.

Advertising & cookies

We may display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Third-party data

Price charts are sourced from public market-data providers (Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko). No personal data of yours is shared with them.

Children

Chartle is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
